 FTSA Committee Members 2016

President - Richard Woodward

Richard is a Qualified Test Pilot and currently an A380 captain with Qantas. Richard is a graduate of Empire Test pilots School and spent 13 years working for the Royal Australian Air Force prior to moving to Qantas as an airline pilot.

 

Vice President - Claude Daniel

Claude is a Test Engineer and currently the National Competency and Training Manager for Nova Systems. Claude has a Bachelor of Engineering and a Masters of Science (Flight Dynamics).
 

Secretary - Ron Haack

Ron is a Qualified Test Pilot and currently a 747 pilot with Qantas. Ron is a graduate of Empire Test Pilots School and spent 25 years working for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) prior to moving to commercial aviation.

 

Treasurer - Scott Plumb

Scott is a Flight Test Engineer graduate of the Empire Test Pilots School currently posted to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Aircraft Research and Development Unit (ARDU) at Williamtown. His duties include flight testing of the Hornet, Hawk and Wedgetail aircraft.

 

Membership Officer - Patrick Bridge

Patrick is a Qualified Test Pilot and graduate of Empire Test Pilots School. He is currently a Major employed in flight test at the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Aircraft Research and Development Unit (ARDU). He has been a military aviator for 20 years, predominately rotary wing, working on programs such as Eurocopter Tiger introduction-Into-Service and Black Hawk modernisation program.

 

Public Officer -Guy Adams

Guy is a Flight Test Engineer and currently the Director of Unmanned Aerial Systems for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). Previously he was employed as a FTE with the RAAF's Aircraft Research and Development Unit (ARDU) and worked on F18 Hornet and Eurocopter Tiger flight test programs. Guy is a past President of FTSA.

Historical Officer - Milt Cottee

Milt retired from the RAAF as a Group Captain after an impressive career which included a tour as a fighter pilot in Korea, flying instructional duties, squadron commander, Project Officer for the F-111C and overseeing the operational requirements for the future of the RAAF. He graduated from the Empire Test Pilots School in 1955 and was extensively involved with experimental flight test over many years.
